Living Like Water

Today’s reflection comes to us from the life changing book “Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life” by Wayne Dyer, where he dissected the 81 verses of the ancient Chinese Tao Te Ching, with his own beautiful reflections. This is an excerpt from the 78th verse of the Tao Te Ching:
“Nothing in the world is softer
and weaker than water.
But for attacking the hard, the unyielding,
nothing can surpass it.
There is nothing like it.
The weak overcomes the strong;
the soft surpasses the hard.
In all the world, there is no one who does not know this,
but no one can master the practice.”
Lao-tzu, Tao Te Ching
If we stop holding on so tightly to everything, and live like water, we may just find that our greatest strength shines through and there is nothing that we cannot be, do or have.
